Here’s an easy, simple green smoothie I blended today:
1 banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 cups kale (or spinach)
2 cups water
Blend kale and 1 to 1.5 cups water until pureed. Set aside.
Blend fruit with remaining water, and if needed, some of the kale mixture.
Optional add-ins:
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs Decadent Blend Chia and flaxseed with coconut and cocoa (Found at Sprouts, about $8 for the bag)
1 cup yogurt (I use fat free for myself but for Eli, I would use whole milk).
